Having always had a passion for singing, after completing A-levels I went on to study performing Arts in Notting Hill Gate, majoring in Singing & Performance. Before I’d even graduated, at 18 years old I had my first professional singing engagement performing backing vocals in a choir for Sting and M People at the Brit Awards 1995. The course, along with my first taste of ‘singing-for-a-living’, made me set on a career in music. I knew nothing else would fulfil me.
Since then I’ve been singing professionally for 17 years in many capacities – as a session singer, lead & backing vocalist for TV and live work, including tours with various bands throughout Europe and America. It has been so exciting to work with artistes such as Diana Ross, Will Young, Chicane, Take That, Lemar but more recently I have been proud to launch my own band with my twin sister called ‘Sugarfoot’. We have a brand new EP featuring our latest songs launched Spring 2011. For more info go to www.sugar-foot.co.uk
My teaching style is very relaxed, motivating and professional, incorporating the latest vocal techniques including forward placement.
I hope to be singing for a very long time….. and teaching for even longer!
